LIKAANEN LAKEUS
Finland’s Toughest Gravel Adventure
14–16 May 2027 in Töysä, Finland
What is Likaanen Lakeus?
Never again, and again next year!
Likaanen Lakeus (eng. Dirty Flatlands) is a long-distance gravel cycling adventure that puts your endurance to the test, ridden through the night between Friday and Sunday. If you’ve got nothing left, you just try to keep going.
The route of just under 500 kilometres is ridden off the pavement, through fields and forests. You have the whole weekend. There’s no rush along the way, but the fastest rider to the finish gets to heat up the sauna.
If you love long distances and nothing is ever enough, this is your thing.
The route is a mix of the best bits of the flat Finnish countryside and the designer’s bad sense of humour. It always winds through different parts of the plains, to new places that would go unnoticed if you stuck to the main roads.
We will publish more information about the event closer to the date. We are happy to answer questions about the event by email at likaanenlakeus ( at ) gmail (.) com and on Instagram at @likaanenlakeus.
Registration opens on 9 December 2026 at 6 pm (Finnish time).
